The best Christmas Vacation holiday card depends on whether you want a dedicated Griswold-themed greeting, a variety pack of classic movie cards, or a larger set for general holiday mailing. The Hallmark 16-pack is best for fans who want a specific movie-inspired design, while American Greetings offers 25 cards featuring several beloved Christmas movies. For a single personalized greeting, choose the individual funny card; for non-movie designs, consider the watercolor or rustic sets.

Hallmark Griswold House Christmas Cards
Best for: Fans who want a recognizable National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation reference on their holiday cards. This boxed set contains 16 cards with envelopes, making it a practical pick for sending the same movie-themed greeting to a group.
The front features a cartoon of the Griswold family home covered in snow and lights, with Cousin Eddie’s RV outside. It begins, “Christmas only comes once a year…” The inside continues, “But if you do it right, once is enough. Have a fun, old-fashioned family Christmas!”
Why it was selected: It is the most directly focused option for shoppers specifically searching for a Christmas Vacation holiday card. Limitation: The set uses one design and a printed message, so it is less suited to buyers seeking assorted artwork or a blank interior.
American Greetings Classic Movie Cards
Best for: Households that enjoy multiple Christmas movies or need more cards in one set. It includes 25 cards, envelopes, and corresponding sticker seals, with scenes and quotes from Elf, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, and A Christmas Story.
The assortment includes characters such as Buddy, Clark Griswold, Ralphie, and the iconic leg lamp. Inside messages combine heartfelt holiday wishes with movie references, including “Wishing you that Christmas feeling all year long!” and “Hope your holidays are all they’re cracked up to be.”
Why it was selected: It includes Christmas Vacation among a broader mix, which offers more variety than a single-design pack. Limitation: Not every card is Christmas Vacation-themed, so choose another option if you need every greeting to feature the Griswold family.
Funny Christmas Vacation Greeting Card
Best for: Sending one personalized greeting to a friend, family member, or partner who loves the movie. The listing describes high-quality printing on 300gsm material and includes a red envelope.
The card is presented as a Christmas Vacation-inspired gift and greeting. Its message can be customized, which makes it better for a personal note than a boxed set intended for a larger mailing list.
Why it was selected: It gives shoppers a single-card alternative to multipacks and highlights personalization. Limitation: The listed product information does not specify a card quantity beyond the individual greeting, so it is not the best fit for sending many cards.
ZICOTO Watercolor Christmas Cards
Best for: Buyers who want a general Christmas card set with room to write their own message. The 20-card assortment includes five watercolor designs, matching brown envelopes, and Christmas stickers. The listed card size is 4 by 6 inches.
Because the cards are blank inside, senders can write a personal greeting rather than using a preprinted movie quote. This set is a better fit for a varied holiday mailing than for shoppers who specifically want Christmas Vacation imagery.
Why it was selected: It offers an alternative for buyers whose priority is writing flexibility and multiple designs. Limitation: The product details do not describe a Christmas Vacation theme.
ZICOTO Modern Rustic Christmas Cards
Best for: Shoppers looking for a modern rustic style rather than a movie-themed design. The product name identifies it as a 20-card set and notes bulk envelopes.
Why it was selected: It provides a general holiday-card alternative for buyers comparing larger sets. Limitation: The available product details do not specify the artwork, interior messages, or additional included items, and it is not identified as a Christmas Vacation card.
Buying Guide: How to Choose a Christmas Vacation Holiday Card
Do you want a dedicated movie design?
Choose the Hallmark set when the Griswold house and Cousin Eddie’s RV are the main reason for your search. Choose American Greetings if you want Christmas Vacation references mixed with scenes from other classic holiday films. Check the product description for the exact design and wording when a particular quote matters.
How many cards do you need?
Compare the set size with your mailing list. The listed options include 16 cards from Hallmark, 25 from American Greetings, and 20 in each ZICOTO set. The individual funny card is more suitable for one recipient than for a large seasonal mailing.
Would you rather write your own message?
A blank interior provides space for a handwritten note. The watercolor ZICOTO cards are specifically described as blank inside. Hallmark and American Greetings list printed inside messages, while the individual funny card is described as customizable.
What comes with the cards?
Check whether envelopes and seals are included before choosing. Hallmark lists envelopes, American Greetings lists envelopes and sticker seals, and the watercolor set lists matching brown envelopes and stickers. The rustic set name mentions bulk envelopes, but its supplied details do not describe other contents.
