Buying Guide: Key Considerations For Choosing Cemetery Flowers
How long should the display last? If you need long-term outdoor durability, look for fade-resistant materials and weatherproof coatings that maintain color for months. For short-term services, lighter, easier-to-move arrangements may be preferable.
What is the best form for your site? Saddles, sprays, and cake arrangements work differently with headstones, stands, or flat surfaces. Consider stability features like spikes, bases, and ground stakes to prevent tipping in wind or rain.
What size is appropriate? Larger bouquets offer dramatic impact but require more secure placement. Smaller sprays fit on caskets or tabletops and are easier to transport and position.
Is color important? Color choices can convey different sentiments. Neutral tones are traditionally respectful, while blues, purples, or mixed colors can reflect personality or the deceased’s preferences.
Maintenance expectations? Synthetic flowers require minimal upkeep but can fade over time. Plan how you will refresh or replace items between services if needed.
